Meet The Team
Shatara Troy
Shatara grew up around the noise and daily realities of a family trade business. Raised in the HVAC world, she learned early on that a company’s reputation is won or lost in field execution—a principle she later put into practice by modernizing her family shop’s back-office operations from the ground up.
Throughout her career as an industrial COO and business advisor in Jacksonville, Shatara has pulled back the curtain on a broad spectrum of growing companies. Having led operations spanning finance, HR, field crews, and warehouse logistics, she specializes in solving owner dependency and business friction—turning chaotic back offices into structured, scalable operations.
At Schematic Legacy, Shatara serves as the financial and system architect. She focuses on building scalable back-office infrastructure and executing seamless transactions—ensuring local founders can pass the baton cleanly.
Chris Haley
Chris comes from a family where work was measured in sweat, skill, and practical service. The grandson of an electrician, son of a former farmer and U.S. Navy aviation electrician, and brother to a farmer and former truck driver, he grew up with a deep, personal respect for the trades that keep communities moving.
A Jacksonville resident for nearly two decades, Chris has spent twenty years in executive leadership, directly operating and scaling companies across multiple sectors. His focus has always been simple: profitable growth built on real operational efficiency, clear accountability, and strong workplace culture—leading five separate organizations to earn "Best Places to Work" honors under his leadership.
Deeply invested in Northeast Florida, Chris supports local institutions including Feeding Northeast Florida, MOSH, and Junior Achievement. At Schematic Legacy, he focuses on operational excellence and culture—ensuring that when a trade business changes hands, its legacy, and its daily operations are built to thrive for the long haul.
Ron Troy
Ron learned the trade baseline early, riding shotgun in his grandfather’s septic pumping truck during North Carolina summers—learning firsthand that a business is built on sweat, execution, and a good name.
A Jacksonville resident since 2010, Ron lives and is raising his family here. Over the past decade, he has operated as a local residential real estate investor while building a successful corporate B2B sales career. As the hands-on lead through full gut rehabilitations, he managed construction timelines, led field crews, and resolved complex structural challenges—all while driving enterprise dealmaking and revenue growth in high-stakes commercial execution.
At Schematic Legacy, Ron leads growth, marketing, and commercial strategy while remaining boots on the ground for critical customer and partner relationships. He combines his background in enterprise negotiation with practical jobsite discipline—ensuring local trade businesses continue to expand without losing field-level quality.
